display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px;" src="http://photos-h.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v299/21/58/811145022/n811145022_3637631_3469.jpg" alt="" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Pete Clancy and Jon Voss defended the Wind affirmative (permanently extend the Production Tax Credit), claiming that their plan would significantly decrease the impact of pollution (which causes Acid Rain and Global Warming)  and shore up the U.S. economy.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://photos-h.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v299/21/58/811145022/n811145022_3637951_8582.jpg"&gt;&lt;img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; Beasty, and Team Skipper) have begun practice debates.  Everyone competed in two rounds on Sunday; one affirmative and the other negative. Meanwhile, residential students made their way to Milwaukee and checked into the residence hall.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://photos-h.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v299/21/58/811145022/n811145022_3528543_6700.jpg"&gt;&lt;img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px;" src="http://photos-h.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v299/21/58/811145022/n811145022_3528543_6700.jpg" alt="" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Institute Director Tom Noonan, the Director of Debate at Marquette University, welcomed the diverse faculty to Milwaukee and highlighted the institute's commitment to a collaborative teaching environment that maximizes the educational value we offer to our students.  He was joined by Associate Director Timothy Dale and Georgia State University's Dr. Carol Winkler as the faculty became acclimated to the curriculum, the institute philosophy, and the best practices for working with our students.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The hard work begins tomorrow as students and instructors meet for the first time.
